Conclusion : In short, girls will always get the best response, irrespective of what they write, and guys bechaare hi rahenge....because we have only ourselves to blame...We  just cant resist the temptation to boost the girls' confidence level !!!

DIL CHAHTA HAI

Well, as the name suggests, this post has nothing to do with the movie Dil Chahta Hai in any way, whatsoever...
Infact, it is all about the title, what we want to do and what we want from our lives.
In the process of growing up, we always change our mind of choosing a career, focus is still not there, so there comes the role of the parents, who become our mentors and give us a direction, in most of the cases it is rather imposed on us....No, no, no, dont worry, this is also not about career also, I shall not bore you with this topic...

It is about the life in general, on a broader aspect, with much bigger issues...
Mr perfectionist, Aamir Khan said, "always listen to your heart", and he has always followed this principle in his life and never regretted it...Often in life, we end up doing things, which our instincts never allowed us to do but our brain always gave it a go ahead, and in the end we always regret it, no matter what. If we ever do a research, we shall find most of the successful people across the globe love the work they do, love the way they lead their life, it is very important to enjoy your work else you shall never do justice with yourself and the work you do. For instance, nowadays we see a large no of actors getting a break in the movies just because their father/mother were in the industry before, and we have seen how many of them have actually been successful and been disasters on the job, the famous ones are Tushhar Kapoor, Harman Baweja, Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan, Rajiv Kapoor, the list is countless and still going on...Sonam Kapoor is still new but honestly I doubt if she has it in her the requisite acting skills to sustain in the industry.

If you have never asked yourself, then its not too late yet, ask now, ask yourself, what is your extreme desire, what do you want from your life ??
And the answer lies within you, you just have to work towards achieving that, and believe me, life will be beautiful once you achieve it. Never let anyone hold the string of your life, be free, just like a bird, and you shall not ask for anything else from life...
If by any reason you cant choose the work you wanted to do, then make it your hobby, but dont leave it... There are no free lunches in life and nothing comes without hardwork, so always be ready to choose the difficult path, as easy path seems good but only in the short run !!

Reservation: History, Implementation and Suggestions

I start by writing a beautiful quote by Swami Vivekananda ji,

"We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act. " 

The problem called as the reservation with which we are dealing with today is a gift of the Mandal Commission established in 1979 by the Janata Party Government under the Prime Ministership of Morarji Desai.

The Commission recommended reservation for lower caste students in higher education.

When the time came to implement the recommendations, the Prime Minister was V.P. Singh, which led to mass revolution amongst the student community in the entire nation, but to no avail. Many students did certain acts of protest which the Govt didn't even pay heed to, Rajiv Goswami self immolated himself in 1990 to the protest against reservation, he was a student of Delhi University and died in 2004.

Not even 4 years had passed by, in 2008 the reservation's ghost came to
haunt us again, in the form of OBC quotas this time but excluding the
so-called 'creamy layer'. This time again, the student community again
showed great unity, with medicos leading the charge.
Imagine the future of a country with medical, engineering and other seats being reserved and merit given a complete snub. 
What will be the quality of doctors and engineers ?


The politics over reservation is a game changing matter, each and every
party tackles it with respect. Recently the Andhra Pradesh Government
announced a 4% reservation for Muslims which was stayed by the AP
High Court on 8th Feb 2010. The Govt challenged the stay in Supreme
Court and on 25th March 2010, the SC decided in favour of the State Govt.
But the final hearing is yet to come up in August this year on the issue.


It is a matter of pity and grave concern that the reservations based on religion have now been started, this will cause huge problems for the country in the future, it is politics for the politicians, but the ultimate sufferer, as always, is the common man.

The chain of quota is never ending, it has to be restricted at some point.
Even if the govt is uplifting the people from other castes, it has to be done
in a practical manner. I shall explain by taking an example :
Suppose a person belonging to the SC/ST/OBC community through quota has scaled great heights, now he is uplifted, but the irony is that his family can avail the benefits for generations to come, so no need to study. While there are also students who are not getting admissions in the best institutions even after putting in a lot of hardwork and scoring exceptionally well.


Its high time now for the Govt to introspect and re-draft the reservation policy, in my opinion it should be restricted to a certain no. of persons for a family.
